cosmetic Surgery?

i have 2 genetic defects that i have been told by my dr will never change. 1 is that my thighs are really large. everyone in my family has large thighs, so i guess it comes from that. i wear size 13 around the waist but size 20 through the thighs. finding jeans ... impossible. also finding bras is impossible. i am larger than a C on one side and slightly smaller than an A on the other. my dr and parents suggest surgery... but idk. my friend's mom had surgery and had a horrible recovery that is still going on a season later. also... might the medicine/anestesia hurt your brain? is it even really worth it and will the insurance pay for it? please answer if u can tell me anything i should know about surgery before deciding to have it.

  1. I had cosmetic surgery in germany and trust me, it will change your life. successful cosmetic surgery is absolutely wonderful. 1st regarding the breasts, i recommend having them both fixed and go for a size that does not require you to wear a bra at all. life it 1000000 times better without a bra. also, recovery is soo much better too. on the thighs, that is messed up, i have big thighs too, and it runs in the family. if you can have that fixed too, go for it. you won't regret it. a little pain is nothing compared to the psychological boost it will give you.
  2. I do think it is a good idea for surgery for you. It would make your life a lot easier but you should only do it if YOU want to. No one else can make that kind of decision for you. These are all things you should address with your doctor though. Tell him your concerns. No one on this site will better help you than a doctor with a degree who if you do decide to get the surgery will perform it! Make an appointment with him to exclusively talk about all the concerns you have, Make a list of questions and address them all and you'll be able to make a better decsision. The anastesia wont hurt your brain. And it depends on your insurance, they might pay for part but Im not sure because I think that would go under cosmetic surgery. You'd have to check with your insurance company and find out their policy which you should do right away because they usually take time. Good luck.
